Chapter 474 - You Are My First Woman
Moonblade, who was in Damien\'s hand, suddenly levitated from his hand and moved towards Kalypso.
"I forgot to ask...do you have a name to suit your weapon form?" Damien asked since all weapons had a name of their own that signifies their power. And when it came to Spirit Weapons, he learned that the soul of the weapon had a name for their identity and another name for their physical weapon form.
"Crimson Death...That is the name he gave me…" Kalypso said in a low voice, and the next moment, her dagger body merged with Moonblade.
A brilliant crimson pillar of light shot towards the sky and blinded the others, making even the Yuria, Valentina, and the little king shield their eyes since the crimson light, despite being dark, was just too blinding, and they could feel the boundless power ripping in all directions.
Fortunately, these ripples were suppressed before they could hit them. Otherwise, they were sure their bodies would have exploded from these powerful ripples that left cracks all over the ground despite the ripples not even hitting them.
Damien was protected by a crimson aura because of which he was safeguarded from these ripples of nethereal energy emanating from Crimson Death.
"I am going to bind myself to your soul, are you ready for it?" Kalypso asked as her and Moonblade\'s aura continued to merge.
"Am I really going to get a neighbor? Shit...she\'s going to know everything about us...including me!" Luna petulantly said.
Damien was surprised that Luna knew how to swear and thought it was kind of amusing for a lofty goddess like her. But hearing about her complaints, he said, "Weren\'t you the one who told me to go ahead and accept Kalypso? Now be a good girl and relax. Kalypso is a decent being, and I am sure you two will be friends."
"Hey! Don\'t treat me like a mortal girl! Anyway, I don\'t become friends with anyone since no one is worthy enough to gain the friendship of this goddess, hmph!" Luna said with her pink nose raised high.
Damien inwardly chortled hearing her words, but he gave the green light for Kalypso to bind with his soul.
He could only imagine how his life was going to be moving ahead with two superpowered beings inside his soul and if it was going to for better or worse.
Another dark crimson strand of energy shot towards Damien\'s glabella, making him grimace as he felt a strange sensation in his soul.
He could feel something foreign yet familiar binding with his soul and Luna making preparations to receive the newcomer.
The Crimson Death suddenly disappeared from in front of Damien, much to the shock of the other three who were watching from outside.
The little king was shocked the most since it was the sacred dagger he and his family had been safeguarding for all these years. It was also something they couldn\'t move, let alone touch, no matter how many tries.
So seeing it suddenly disappear seemed surreal to him, and he wondered where it went or if Godnim was able to move it miraculously.
Damien closed his eyes and focused on his soul as he was feeling the nethereal energy in his body shaking in excitement as if they had found a new friend.
His soul was also trembling in excitement, and Luna commented, "Hmph, seems like our new neighbor could help you cultivate your soul and nethereal cultivation faster. Maybe you won\'t be affected by some of the restrictions you are facing because of your Anti-God Arts."
Damien was glad to hear this, but he got distracted when he saw a crimson light manifesting in his soul plane. He could see that the process of Kalypso binding to his soul was underway and could take some time.
Letting someone else\'s soul enter his was a very dangerous thing and made him very vulnerable as well to any attack from within.
However, he, for some reason, felt that Kalypso could be trusted, and Luna was also there just in case things went against his expectations.
"You better continue to treat me like a queen even if we got a new gatecrasher. Do you understand this goddess\' order?" Luna asked with pursed lips and wondered why she was getting bothered about a new being coming into Damien\'s soul and why she wanted to be the only one to reside in Damien\'s soul.
Damien softly chuckled and said, "Don\'t worry, Luna. How could I forget about you? No matter who comes and goes, you will always be my first woman."
He yet again realized how the presence of Luna was making him feel very safe without him knowing.
Even though Luna was kind of depending on him to live on, he knew he wouldn\'t be here or alive right now without her.
"W-Woman?! You dare!!" Luna fumed as she appeared outside and twisted Damien\'s ear, "You dare to speak to me like one of your mortal lovers? Who do you think this goddess is to claim her as your woman? Do you seek death that much?"
Damien felt a chill down his spine when he felt a cold killing intent enveloping his body slowly, which was none other than Luna\'s. Even if nobody else could see her, he could see her cute yet irritated eyes glaring at him as if looking down at a dead chicken.
Damien didn\'t understand what she was getting so angry about, but then he realized how the words he involuntarily said caused her to misunderstand.
Damien hurriedly said, "Wait! Wait! I didn\'t mean like that…" The killing started to recede as Luna squinted her eyes while Damien continued, "I only meant that you are the first woman to reside in my soul, and since Kalypso is a woman as well based on her voice, I just meant it like that. What else were you thinking? Don\'t tell me..."
Luna\'s eyes fluttered for a moment, "Shush! Erase whatever I said before right now! You are also not allowed to speak a word about it anymore, hmph!"
She immediately disappeared though Damien amusedly smiled, seeing her reaction, \'Sigh...I really have a troublesome goddess inside my soul…\'
Luna became strangely silent and even slipped back into her Shard of Essence while not letting out a peep.
However, he suddenly sensed how Kalypso had finished binding with his soul, and when he looked inside his soul, he was surprised to see a weapon that was unlike his expectations.
