Chapter 114 - "IS IT NORMAL TO BLEED THAT MUCH?"
PRECAP
"All tests are faulty." He said, rubbing her back. "You have not gotten your periods yet so it\'s a good sign, baby."
It was true, she was late for a few days now and that had led Kian in bringing the test kits to verify if she was pregnant or not.
"We will take another test in the morning and regardless of it, we will see the doctor tomorrow...so do not worry."
He concluded, kissing her forehead, making her feel so comfortable in his hold and embrace.
"I m very sure the next one will pop positive."

Tinsley reached down to touch her panty and saw blood in her hands. She eyed the hand in horror and could not help the soft grumbles coming out of her mouth.
Kian tilted his head to check up on his wife and seeing her sitting up on the bed, staring at her hand, he rose up immediately and switched on the nearby lamb.
He was horrified to see Tinsley seated on a bloodied bedsheet, her hand covered in blood as she eyed it.
She was shaking and he knew what it meant. He quickly got closer to her and held her in his arm.
She was too absorbed in her mind to notice any of it as he led her to the bathroom and made her sit on the toilet.
He took a towel and wet it with the tap water before coming towards her and washing off the blood from her legs and inner thighs.
He parted her thighs and pulled down her white underwear now all red in colour.
He raised her hands up to undress her from the green cotton maxi and led her inside the shower stall.
He let the water pour over her as he cleaned her. Blood clots fell off from her core and he eyed them in disappointment and pain.
After cleaning her and making her wear a fresh set of clothing, he went out of the bathroom to change the stained bedsheet.
It was painful to look at the amount of blood she bled. It was a lot. He was afraid if something was wrong with her.
He came back to her, still seated on the toilet seat, lost in her thoughts. He looked inside the cabinets for pads but did not find them.
She must not have gone shopping for it. He thought. And got back to her side making her wear fresh underwear.
He held her up in bridal style and led them to the bed. She stopped him in the midway and he halted on his steps.
"Is something wrong?? Is it painting you too much?? "
He was quick to fire those questions out to her. She shook her head in negative making him relaxed a little bit.
"What if I strain the bed again??"
She asked in confusion. Kian did not mind the blood at all and placed her on her side of the bed.
"I do not mind it. I will clean it tomorrow morning. "
He answered her to which she nodded positively absentmindedly. He laid a chaste kiss on her temple and pushed her back to sleep.
"Everything will be alright."
He mumbled in the darkness after getting in bed with her and pulling the duvet over them.
"I will bring the sanitary pads in the morning."
He said and Tinsley hummed in the darkness of the night after he switched off the lights.
Sleep was the last of all the things that would come to them in the night. Especially, Kian, he could not help the dreadness he felt in his heart.
It felt empty and void. They would not have to take another test in the morning anymore, neither to go to the doctor.
Everything was crystal clear now. He laid little soft kisses along her neck, spooning her back, trying to give her some peace as they both passed the night in helplessness and failure.
The next morning, Tinsley was up early and cleaned herself. She went to wash her maxi, underwear and bedsheet.
Kian was in deep sleep and woke up only when he heard his wife screaming and cursing in the bathroom.
He hurriedly got up and barefoot walked inside the bathroom to find Tinsley in the shower, cleaning herself again for the nth time.
The floor was covered with blood and thick blood clots. Her inner thighs had dried up blood on them.
"Is it normal to bleed that much??"
She looked up to see him, standing by the door, watching her in horror. She had no inkling when he got up and came here.
"I always bleed more than usual. It\'s fine."
She said. He nodded. For a moment or two, both stood there awkwardly, glancing at each other.
"I will go to the market to get you the pads."
He spoke up and she shook her in positive. He got inside the bathroom to brush and wash his face.
"Bring the tampons."
She mouthed. He nodded and stormed out of the bathroom. A while later, she heard their front door opening and closing indicating he had gone out.
She then walked out to wash another bed sheet and set a fresh new bed over on the bed.
As she walked to and fro cleaning the bedroom, she saw herself in the mirror and stopped before it.
She watched her reflection inside of the vertical full body mirror in the corner of the bedroom.
She looked tired and her face was contoured in pain from her menstrual cramps.
She placed a hand on her flat abdomen and felt empty. There was a void in her soul and she knew what it was.
Periods were always decreasing but never this upsetting to her. This period had marked the end of something...someone they were both eagerly expecting.
She closed her eyes and could not help but feel the bright side of it. Maybe...maybe it was a sign from the Almighty that it was not the right time??
Could not it be a signal that they were doing it all wrong?? And a chance to correct it this time.
