Chapter 1806 - Treasure Chests

Chapter 1806: Treasure Chests

Sorrowless couldn’t do anything either. He couldn’t offend Hachi Chan, unless he didn’t want to farm monsters here.

The new map was filled with dangers; it wasn’t easy to find a place to rest. However, the Stair of Destiny was still relatively safe, and the NPCs here were able to repair equipment.

The Pit Commander was a worthwhile Boss to fight too. As the very least, it didn’t summon a swarm of monsters.

On the second day, Glory Capital’s people actually still hadn’t left.

They dutifully went to Hachi Chan and received her quests, but while the difficulty of Hachi Chan’s quests was relatively high, the reward didn’t match. For example, she would hand out a quest to kill 3 Wrath Masters with a maximum of 2 people who could participate. It was more difficult than killing 10 Fel Soldiers, but the reward was much, much less.

What was more, Hachi Chan didn’t give them the talisman – poor Sorrowless didn’t even know there was one.

He was just bewildered as to why the players from Ruling Sword had such high damage.

On the second day, when Lu Li’s damage against Burning Legion had increased to 100%, he didn’t wait on the Stair of Destiny anymore. With limitless opportunities in the new map, it was simply too much of a loss to stay in one place and kill monsters, What was more, he was level 61, which was higher than anyone else.

He sneakily transformed into a crow, and flew into the skies above.

There would occasionally be collectable herbs and ore on the ground, but Lu Li didn’t pay attention to them, because these Mountain Silversage, Felmusk and Fel Iron Deposits simply weren’t worth much money. They could farm a whole stack of them in a day with no problems.

Lu Li went through Expedition Point, but didn’t stop by. They were in short supply of goods here. Apart from repairing equipment, there wasn’t any NPC here that was worth dealing with.

They were relatively wary and wouldn’t issue a quest lightly.

However, Lu Li had to admit that his own Charisma was too low, and it was relatively harder for him to receive quests. He didn’t want to lose face.

One of the most commonly seen monsters on the Hellfire Peninsula was the Helboar. There were also boars all around Azeroth. Who knew how this creature actually could survive in two completely different habitats?

The boars here would occasionally drop blueprints, which was why in the future, many guilds would assemble teams to farm them.

If the Stair of Destiny had not been secured, Lu Li was originally planning to farm boars by himself. These monsters were densely packed and had low attack, so they were very suitable for levelling up.

But of course, he didn’t rush to farm them now.

Crossing through a large Helboar territory, Lu Li arrived very soon at a place called Zeth’Gor.

This place used to be an Orc city, but now, it was an occupied territory of the Bleeding Hollow of the Fel Orcs. With Grillok ‘Darkeye’ leading the Bleeding Hollow garrisoned here, this abandoned city had three Bosses. They were Grillok, Worg Master Krush and Warlord Morkh.

These Bosses were difficult to deal with. Lu Li couldn’t even defeat one.

Even if he brought 800 Paladins with him, it would be of no use. As such, his target wasn’t these three Bosses, but the two treasure chests inside these ruins of Zeth’Gor . If the circumstances allowed for it, he might be able to receive a quest that wasn’t too dangerous.

Lu Li couldn’t quite remember the location of the two treasure chests. After all, he was a Druid in his last life, so he had no need to purposely go and remember this.

There were still quite a few dangers in the process of searching. After all, this camp was filled with the Eyes of Grillok.

Grillok ‘Darkeye’ sacrificed an eye to the dark forces, and from this, gained frightening magic powers. The eye he sacrificed had been Scorched and in its place was left a terrifying hole. He used an eyepatch to cover up this symbol of a betrayer, but there was also a secret within.

He didn’t waste his lost eye either, but used it as a tool in witchcraft.

These Eyes of Grillok were like Grillok’s eyes and ears. As long as your tracks were discovered by them, Grillok would immediately know your position, and the whole camp of Fel Orcs would be welcoming you with their pursuit.

Lu Li needed to be more cautious. He didn’t want to die in this place.

Fortunately, it wasn’t too hard to find where these two treasure chests were. One was in a broken tent. Apart from the treasure chest inside, there were also two Bleeding Hollow Necrolytes. Lu Li Sapped one, killed the other and then dealt with the first.

It was said before that Lu Li preferred farming Helboars to level up, but this didn’t mean that all monsters were the same.

Killing them and farming them to level up were two different issues. The main difference was whether or not it was efficient. For Lu Li, two Bleeding Hollow Necrolytes simply weren’t all that worthwhile. One of them dropped a piece of Bronze equipment.

Bronze equipment was not to be underestimated. While they often lacked special effects, they still had relatively high attributes and damage.

Next came using the Unlock skill to open the chests.

There was a minor adjustment in the level 70 patch to the Unlock skill. You could still level it up, but not with Skills Points. As such, players had to try to find treasure chests to practice on. Otherwise, there was a real chance that in the future, they would encounter an exquisite treasure chest but have no way to open it.

The treasure chest in front of Lu Li didn’t require too high of a skill level for now.

He could open these intermediate-level locks at the moment with 0 Unlock XP. This just came from a solid attitude to practicing well, so he needed to watch it a few more times to get it right. Especially since he was always unlucky, it took him a dozen times to get it right before he could open it.

Level 65 Dark Gold Cloth Gloves. Once worn, they had two special effects, one of which increased EXP gain by 7%.

By the time everyone found equipment that increased their EXP gain by 7%, it wouldn’t be worth that much anymore. However, it was still more valuable than most other equipment. Demand determined the market.

It provided high damage, its basic attributes were solid and its critical hit damage was also high. It was very suited towards magic roles.

After more looting, something else was found – the Eyes of Grillok.

This was what Lu Li wanted. Eyes of Grillok could increase a players’ vision on an enemy. As long as you could control stealthily, even a Boss wouldn’t realize you had it.

The Outland was still too dangerous at the moment, so Lu Li needed such a tool for his safety.

There were often monsters flying around in the sky, and turning into a crow meant having no armor at all. If he was attacked, he would probably be killed immediately.
